Centering around the emotional lyrics of singer/song-writer and guitarist Leah Henson Milan, His & Hers utilizes the talents of her multi-instrumentalist husband Brandon Milan, and bassist brother Adam Henson to craft intimate music. Having been composing songs with acoustic guitar since teenage years, this album, Two Is Better Than None, represents both a coming of age and the learning gained with experience. Brother and sister, Adam and Leah both received instruments as Christmas gifts from their parents while in high school and began playing in the worship setting offered by their youth group, all the while Leah was honing her burgeoning talent as a song writer. Brandon came into Leah’ s life while both he and she, along with Adam, attended college in South Carolina. While other players have come and gone and certainly contributed to the effort that has become His & Hers, these three have remained the nucleus behind the songs, in effect growing up and changing with them. From the adventure of marriage, following God's lead from Carolina to Canada and back again, and dealing with the challenges life offers, this music is forged straight from the heart.
